RKCNDY
1812 Yale Avenue
623-0470
RKCNDY has welcomed Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Candlebox, and Afghan
Whigs - not bad for a club that has only been open for 3 1/2 years. Arguably the
largest venue in town, this converted metal refinery offers plenty of room to
move. The warehouse-like interior is dark and shadowy. Be prepared for a
rowdy crowd, spilled drinks, and one hell of a good time. Watch the show from
the main floor, or from the second level through chain-link fencing. For a break,
play a game of pool and quench your thirst with any of the eight beers on tap.
venue: live music - alternative rock
neighborhood: Howelltown
cover: $5 - $7 typical, more for national acts
hours: 9pm - 2am (every night)
service: beer & wine
terms: AE, cash
